I love her and I naturally love W. I think this is by far the best editorial of her. Maybe of anyone in the whole cast of Twilight. The makeup is perfect for fall with the dramatic touch it has. I wish I could achieve it just as naturally -without looking like a tart. Now I'll definitely practice!

I pretty much haven't seen her work at all, but her look here is so sweet and easy going I added her to the list, You don't need to be globally successful to be stylish.

-unfortunately this was the best photo of her that I found, but if we focus on the style it's enough. It's a look I definitely will copy as I think all of us have pieces like these in our closet already.

Sure he's a guy, and the outfit is probably for the movie he's shooting, but isn't he chic? Black never gets old.

I'm back home now. In finland that is. Only problem is that I don't have my mac here with me, it's back on my flat and I'm currently at my parrents place as I got a job from here, and the computer here ( well, the one I can use) pretty much sucks.Oh well. There's a lot of photos from the trip. Most of them poor quality. Some of them will make their way here anyways I promise. But now I leave you off with the photos of the wedding of Monaco's Royals : Albert and Charlene, I hope the rumors are not true and that they are happy. It would be terrible if Diana's story would repeat itself so soon.

I know this editorial might be too much for some of you, if so, please just shut your eyes and close the browser. I really like this styling of all black. So often during summer we see all the tropical colors and safari themes for the beach. But if we usually wear all black I think safari theme would be quite a surprise. As bikini's and swimwear are part of the wardrobe like any other pieces.

Here's my new little black dress. It was one of the last things I got before my internship at Spirit Store ended and I really love it. I can't wait to out it in some warm summer night with friends. The zipper detail obviously caught my eye but it's the shape of it and the fit that really made me had to have it.

I apologize the messiness behind me. We're getting ready for the interreil, it's only two night away now, and everything is all over the place! If you've done it please give me all the advice you can, I really need them -if for nothing else then to calm my nerves. Sleeping is almost impossible.

I went to my parents for the weekend. Last one before the interreil. My cousin had her graduation on Saturday and we all went. It was fun seeing all the relatives, mostly at least. Those moments are always sweet. In the city you can't really see the spring change into summer, I noticed at countryside during this weekend. Here it has looked the same for few weeks now, but every time I visit my folks at the countryside I see such a huge difference in just few weeks of time that if I hadn't grown in the middle of it I would think I'd get puzzled about it all.

This outfit is from some time back, from a free day when I had to deal with all kind of things I had to do. All the clothes are old, a year at least and at the moment all of them (except the leather jacket) are too big. But I'll rather have it this way, than how it was some times back.

I think this is one of the first times I have a look up here, with a hat on my head. It's strange how something that used to be so mandatory is now such a strange sight. I really like this one and I'm trying to learn to use it, but it's getting too hot for it pretty quickly. For fall maybe?

The drawing live model course I am taking now is half way through and I'm real happy I took it. It's hard, oh yes, but I am starting to enjoy it more and more as I have learned to pass through the frustration that comes when you see everyone else doing so much better than yourself. I'm thinking that if I find cheap enough course of live model drawing at fall I'm definitely attending. You can learn so much with courses like this. And it would be fun and different hobby.

Here's an outfit from last week from when I still had my internship. This week I have an intensive summer course about live model drawing. And after today's first day I can say that I suck at it. Luckly it's still quite fun when I'm not too frustrated and one week flies away quickly. Few posts back people were asking how long away is the spring now here and here's the answer. Trees have leaves now (not for longer than few weeks though), but grass is still grey or non-exictent.

I noticed one day that I am white as printing paper and my hair could use the boost of some great moisturizers. So I did what I always do on a creasy moment like that. I logged into lookfantastic.com and got some great deals out of products I would have had to pay twice as much here in Finland. And I don't even know where I could have gotten the moroccanoil.

I haven't yet tried the hair treatment or the tanning mousse (I think I will tonight) but the tigi conditioner and moroccanoil seem just ideal for me.

Chanel resort 2012

It's the time of year that resorts are coming again and I felt it natural to start with Chanel. Though the content of the blog has changed in the past few months to be almost only my personal style I love the fashion shows far too much to skip them. These I want to share with you anyways.

Today I've been doing some important, but not so fun things like going to the post office, pharmacy, getting a doctor appointment for next week, buying the backpack for the interreil and now I'm gonna go the the train station to buy the ticket and then to gym to freeze my membership for summer (as I won't be here). The only nice thing was the get-together with my friends -or friend as it turned out as she was the only one of the five who could make it :(. Any one who has ever tried to get a meeting of six adult with different timetables knows that it's practically impossible.

I'm lucky I have Karl with me with days like these. For the evening I am going to wash windows and floors and then go for a long awaited run! So I'll be leaving you with these yummy photos from the show. And as usual, the photos are not mine, they're from style.com. All credits to that direction.

The collection is so nice I couldn't tell a favorite even if I had to with a gun on my head.

Yes, I had my hair colored and I just love the color. Just hoping it will stay as long as possible and not wash out. This outfit could be something (with just changes in the accessories) I'd wear for work or just for something fun. I love the top, the print on it is so lovely and sweet -yet different from the ones I've seen before. The pants I originally bought for my summer job (black basic pants were demanded) but I noticed I like them on my time off also.

Easter is long gone now, but clearly I've been a bad blogger and haven't published these shots yet. So here they are. Better late than never. We spent Easter at our home village, small place as you can see the bonfire is traditional, from the beginning of times people at that area have had those on easter saturdays as on that day they believed that God's protection was at it's weakest and witches ruled the world. The bonfire was meant to keep the cattle safe from them. I am wearing the same things as always. Zara trench Coat, Seppälä miu miu knock off scarf, Crocker Jeans and this time Mom's boots.

Red is the color of love

Hi,

I know it's been a while, and I'm real sorry. Somehow times seems ti fly by me all too soon. It's easter time now and though I'll have to work on Saturday I am waiting for it (easter) so much already and I am going to chill a bit. Tomorrow everyplace will be closed and I'm going to enjoy a slow day with my special man with the couch folded, going through travel books, eating in bed and watching some TV. I'd also like to wash the windows and the balcony and dust, but I'm wise enough already to know none of that is going to happen.

These pictures show my new shoes, I had planned for years now to get this same type on black but when I saw these I had to try them on and when I did it was magic! I am silly like that I plan for something really practical for months and months (even longer sometimes) and then one day in a heartbeat I end up buying something that replaces it completely, doesn't make much sense and I end up feeling like a silly teenager -which I think at 21 I don't really count as. But I also think that things like these define me and my style. It's just the way I am.

These are my new shoes from DinSko. I got them on my trip to Helsinki two or three weeks ago. It was a fun trip and I did some shopping more than just these, but I do think I stayed rational -I'd like to think at least. I did try on some Acke pistol -knock offs, but they didn't charm me like these did. Though today at Bianco I saw a bunch of shoes I'd like to have! Again! I was going trough all the files on my computer and I came up with a bunch of photos I had taken for the blog, but then forgot about and never published. This is the oldest -I think. It's months ago already (won't say how many :D) but these were such cute things I wanted to share with you, no matter how late I am.

The lace booties has gotten surprisingly lot of wear, I spotted them right away, and guess what? They were -50% off! Could not leave them behind. The hair band is such a Givenchy inspired item that I went for it naturally and I have been ordering Trendi for so many years I can't even remember.

As you can see I added the © mark on my photos, it's credited to my bf as he is the photographer. I also added creative commons license to protect the content of my blog. I was woken up to realize (with a huge help of my friend) that somebody has uploaded my photo to his blog without asking me, or crediting the photo. I have asked him to remove the photo and he denied. I reported abuse to blogger, but nothing's happened yet. So frustrating.

I am also terribly sorry I just disappeared. I had to finish the last of school work -but next time this will happen at august, so no more of this at least for a long while.

This is a bit late for this, but as many of you are not from Finland I feel safe to show you this look, which I quite surprisingly like. You remember the collection by Finnish Katri Niskanen I showed you about on weekend? Well she also does unique pieces when ordered and this is the latest that the public eye has seen. Jenni Vartiainen ( Finnish singer) wore it to Emma Gala where they give music award for Finnish artists. The jumpsuit is so special with the detailing on the bust. Not for everyone, but she definitely can wear it!

And by the way, she won 7 awards that night. Not bad.

This is the one and only outfit from last week -which was meant to be just one out of many, but with bronchitis, it's not fun to run around playing dress up. The photo is taken in the cottage where we stayed at in Lapland and I wore the outfit for a dinner out. And yes, the decor is meant to look like it does. It captured the lapland feeling 100%, as funny as it looks in here out of context. The quality of the photos is quite weak, but I blame that on the sickness that got me the next day.

Here are some of the photos I took in Lapland. As you can see my skills with the camera aren't that amazing, but the view most definitely is. These photos are from Ylläs fjeld and the village we stayed at was Äkäslompolo, just below it. To me it's one of the dearest places on earth and my family has been going there for two decades now. Lapland for those who have never heard of it is located in the north parts of Finland, Sweden and Norway and it's nown for it's mountains and fjelds, the nightless nights on summer and the opposite on winter. The last thing that makes Lapland definitely different than other part of our country is it's unique nature and animals. And of course, it's where Santa lives. Naturally as it's where the reindeers live.

Holy moly!

Dior has fired John Galliano, because of his rude comments about Jewish people. Natalie Portman has also cut him off and told the press she want nothing to do with the ex creative director or Dior. more here. I am in shock, even though he isn't one of my favorite designers, to see his go. Dior will have a huge change ahead as it's hard to think they'd even try to follow the same path Galliano has had them for years and years now. How will they choose and how will she or he handle the pressure will be seen. I know I am waiting for it excited for Dior and sad for Galliano's big mistake. But no matter what worms came out of his mouth he's already a huge page on the fashion history. A fact we can not deny. I hope he learns from his mistakes.

Tomorrow morning (in just few hours actually) I'm leacing for Lapland. And couldn't be more excited. I love it there. Pictures are promised.

This is what I do all the time nowadays, school, school and once again school. I have a big project that I am working on and it's at the moment on the top of my priorities. I am really hoping I'll get my life back soon, but at the moment I have been at the school from 0800AM to 0800PM. I had a meeting about the project this weekend and as it went quite nice my work load shouldn't be this bad. I took this morning off to gather my strength as I think I'll still be at school until 0600PM everyday. Hopefully not later than that. It's killing me that I don't get to spend any of my time with my bf. Or the blog. But anyways, the scheduled posts are going to keep coming even though I might not have time at all to give you until week 10 (which is when all this madness ends -at latest).

Bouchra Jarrar and Alexis Mabille Couture

Bouchra Jarrar is one of the new names of Couture. The collections are quite small and minimalistic. Their style is very classic, sexy, feminine and business -like. I do enjoy the a-symmetric pieces as well as ones that have been draped. I think there is a lot to come from this name and I am definitely keeping my eye on them.

Their suits, you can see, are definitely done very well and they are to me the most exciting thing on the collection. Sure I like the dresses as well, but there's not so much anything ground braking in them. The suit second from right was my absolute favorite look from the collection. So chic, so luxurious.

The brand almost seems to be sponsored by some luxe fur brand (they do that to get exposure for fur) as there are quite some pieces with fur and some of them look very experimental. I do love the look on far left. As it is simple yet fresh. The aviator jacket seems a little old and unsurprising choice for couture collection and the knit far right has some exciting mix of fur in the collar.

Alexis Mabille has grown on me and is now one of my must check out couture lines. I know it's not a big name yet. But I am pretty sure it's just a matter of time. Just look at these! A new Elie Saab to come!

This collection was pretty simple, with lots of signature white and draping. I love the two looks in the middle above. One pure white, one passionately red. The shape of the dress is just genious, it is so flattering and beautiful I'd love to wear even for my wedding day. The shorted dresses above are also so beautiful. The fairy and airy look of them. The simple and minimalistic silhouette and the exciting texture of lace.

These gowns are all red carpet worthy. And though we haven't seen a lot of Alexis on the carpet (have we at all?) until now I am begging to see these pieces again. Definitely Oscar's worthy pieces!

The Haute Couture week is here. The most magical, exciting and breathtaking fashion week of the season. Armani Privé was among the shows that opened the week. And as you can see and have heard Mister Armani went to a even more artistic direction than usual. Sure Armani's style is always been very artistic, Italian and made pieces, that suit the modern feminine and exploring women.

The first half of the show was about skirt suits and cocktail dresses. I think the hats were very beautiful -though a bit extravaganza. The outfits made out of just one color looked very modern and lovely. The block colors is a something we are getting to see more and more and the look of skirt suit, with leggings and heels is starting to seem like an office worthy look. Or what do you think?

The gowns were really amazing I think. I don't often find Armani that special -not to my taste I mean. But this collection is different I think. Armani is known of making gowns to Lady Gaga, and it shows well in this collection. Gaga most likely wants something even more special than this one. But for the bit more "normal" celebs this is Gaga for them. And I can't wait to see them wear this. Maybe Rachel Zoe will make Demi wear some?
